About

Divisions are the 4 quarters of the world, represented by card suits.

These quarters are marked by the X and Z coordinates and their positive and negative values.

The divisions with a positive X coordinate are red, while the ones with a negative X coordinate are black. This helps distinguish east and west.

The divisions with a positive Z coordinate are sharp, while the ones with a negative Z coordinate are round. This helps distinguish north and south.

All locations with their X and/or Z coordinate as 0 are neutral, and do not belong to any card suit. All blocks that may have been generated there are now bedrock, solidifying the divide.

What rules do these divisions impose?

No rules are inherent to any division. Divisions were originally created as a way to distinguish negative from positive without using a + or -, as well as a way to explain the bedrock barriers between quarters.

It’s possible to reside in or associate with as many or as little divisions as you want, and your identity is only tied to them if you wish it to be.

While legally these divisions are only a communication tool, some people see them as allegiances. Some people look down on those who don’t identify with anything but one specific division, while others couldn’t care less which one(s) you associate yourself with.

This has led to some people trying to take control and govern their division, and to people only allying with people from their own division. Due to this, being multidivisional and having cross-divisional relationships is also looked down upon by some.
